Shea Terra Organics Giveaway plus good green news!

I think it’s pretty clear, I think Shea Terra Organics is a great company, with an awesome CEO and founder and they have great products. I’ve been able to review a vast variety of these luxury body scrubs, lotions, body butters, face washes and creams of all scents and varieties. Now it’s time to share and give away one of my favorite scents, the Lavender of the Khoisan Indigenous Shea Butter gift set. This is the scent my son likes and request to use in the shower! A prize retailed at $45 U.S. dollars and anyone can win this if they live in the United States or Canada and are 18 years of age. All you have to do is leave a comment as to why you think you might need this “spa” treatment! The contest ends May 29, 2008 12am EST. One winner will be drawn randomly. One entry per email and you must leave your email address! Thanks to Shea Terra Organics for donating this lovely gift set.

This was going to be the last giveaway and contest for Green & Clean Mom but seeing that I'm so generous I'll giveaway a fun read and then some more goodies for the prelaunch. I just cannot resist waiting till the launch. There’s so much in store that I am having a hard time sleeping at night trying to organize everything and sort through the amazing giveaways. The official launch or really more of a relaunch will span over the course of two months with two giveaways each week (subject to change). If you’re following me on twitter you might know of some confirmed giveaways! So stay tuned, try to win some Shea Terra Organics, and subscribe so you don’t miss a thing. I am still accepting advertisers and giveaways from the following green categories: jewelers, accessories, toys, diapers and slings.

Hmmm, why do I need a spa treatment? Well, first off, I've never had one and would love one. More importantly, I run 5 blogs, co-author on 2, web design, wife, mom of 3 boys, do ranch work, and clean non-stop. I'm not afraid to say it....I DESERVE a spa treatment:)

With 4 teenagers stress is a daily factor in my life. Any product that relaxes and calms while it heals the damage stress can create on your skin is a definite necessity! Since we certainly don't have the money to allow me a spa day at a real live spa these products could go a long ways to a wonderful "at home" spa day!

Wow, I could use some "pampering!" Living in a house with 3 boys, no one else understands what that means, and how much I need it! I get up at 3:45 AM (yes, that's AM!) to drive 62 miles to work. And of course I get to do the same thing in the afternoon. Why? Because I am a care-giver to two elderly parents with chronic health problems. I cook. I clean. I take care of the therapy pets -- two small dogs and a cat. I do all the grocery shopping, as well as take care of the household needs. I take the trash and recycling down to the street and bring the empty containers back up again. I do the laundry and the ironing. I dispense prescription medication and monitor health, report to doctors as necessary, take to doctor appointments as necessary, take them for medical tests and wait while they are undergoing treatments. I never married, have no children, and my last date was in the 20th century. I don't generally take special care of myself, usually because I am too tired and really don't even think about it, and I used to be one of the most perfectly groomed women on earth. I hope that winning this wonderful set will motivate me to take care of myself so that can establish a routine and get back in the habit.

I would love to try some Organic Bath and Body Products on not only myself, but my entire family. I am married with 3 children all under the age of 10! We are gradually incorporating eco-friendly and organic products into our household, and items like bath and body products are something we have yet to make the switch to. I would like to see my family using products on their skin that I know is made with natural ingredients that won't over time cause any harm to them and at the same time be kind to our environment. I also think it would be nice to experience a little "pampering" and the Lavendar Shea Butter sounds fabulous! Thank you for introducing us to Shea Terra Organics and offering this great giveaway!

Oh, where to start on why I need and would love the "spa treatment"...

I am a stay at home mom of three, online student, wife of a workaholic, I'm always home unless I am walking (1 mile each way) to drop off and pick up from school, I stress over bills since our car broke down and we haven't the money to replace it...I don't think you want to hear more (but there is still a ton left to tell).

I could really use the "spa treatment" like yesterday...

In February I recycled my parents' commercial cleaning business of 28 years...it is now up and running as one of the very few Green commercial cleaning companies in my area. I started this business so I wouldn't have to send my 2 1/2year old to daycare. Shortly after I started the business, I found out I am pregnant again with # 2! A spa treatment will help me (and my green business) keep going in style! Thank you! (aardvarkcleaning@sbcglobal.net)
