Green & Groovy Party Post

Welcome to my party post! I hope you take the time to subscribeThis party is being hosted by, 5 Minutes for Moms, with some great prizes. I'd love to win the Klean Kanteen Sippy cups or the Marketing for Entrepreneurs. There's so many great prizes any of them would be great! What would you like to win? This is my type of party with no driving, no wasted paper cups, napkins or paper plates and prizes. I can wear whatever I want and not have to put makeup on. Now that’s a party!!! So make yourself a Good For You Cocktail.

GRAND TROPICAL TOUCH

Serves 1 smoothie lover
Made with fresh fruit puree and plain yogurt, it's easy to see how this smoothie-like cocktail made the healthy list. But it's the soy vodka that adds the wow. There's only one on the market right now - 3 Vodka - says this drink's mixologist, Fred Rhode of Hurricanes Lounge in Hemingway's at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando.

1¼ oz. soy vodka
2 oz. pureed fresh fruit (use passion fruit, mango, pineapple,
strawberry, guava, banana or a combination of two)
2 oz. plain yogurt

Either combine all ingredients in a blender with ice cubes and puree into a frozen slush, or mix ingredients together and pour over crushed ice. Serve in a tall glass garnished with fruit.

Grab some delicious whole wheat pita bread and hummus, maybe some crunchy kettle brand chips (mouth watering), and one my favorite all natural brownie from Fairytale Brownies(I don’t bake).

Now that we've gotten some good for us party food, let me chat at you and tell you who I am and what I’m about as quickly as possible so you can keep party hopping! I’m a stay at home mom of two little ones (4 and 1). I’m also a teacher with masters in early childhood education and a Shaklee Distributor. I am not a expert, scientist, nutritionist, environmentalist, or doctor. I’m just a mom that has woke up and realized that I am not proud of the Earth I’m leaving to my children or yours. I want to make my children proud by teaching them how to treat the environment and be a role model and leader for other moms looking to do the same thing. I’m a mom who is trying to be some shade of green everyday because I believe that the small things count. I’m a huge advocate for cleaning with non-toxic cleaners and not exposing our young ones to a toxic experiment of chemicals. I have some other blogs that I don’t actively work like this one. They have to do with using safe cleaners for kids, working from home and using natural nutritional products.

On a little side note, I love dancing and having a good time with my children. They light up my life so enjoy this video and music and bring your kids into the room to dance with you…AND don’t forget to turn off the lights and clean the party mess up with non-toxic cleaners!!!!

Thanks for the party. So glad to see other mommies out there going green. My friends all think I'm a bit nuts, but the health of my family is all that matters.
Stay Green! (and join me over at RaisingPeanuts.com for my party too when you get the chance.)

Nice to met you.
Today I am sharing a new thought.
Using jelly in teas instead of honey or sugar. Different, but lots of fun and good tasting. Will you join me in a cup of Rose tea? (Rose jelly and green tea or black if you prefer).

Just going to blog party to blog party enjoying the different sites.

Thank you.
