Green It Carnival, Take Two!

There was another "Green It" carnival this week and I couldn’t get enough of it. The submissions and contributions were very rich in content and information. It was like eating dark chocolate, without the calories or taste…sexy! I learned a ton about hybrid cars and realized my husband was more right than wrong (shhh…don’t tell him I said this)! I have ideas for recycling my blue jeans which makes surfing on over to the carnival for a good bite of dark chocolate, G&CM style, worth it all! So if you need a fix and want some sassy green reading you just must check out the "Green It" carnival. Ahh, and Green Me is also posting on the vegetarian challenge that is about to occur but folks, I eat meat so this is going to be hard for me. Maybe, I’ll cut back. My children are eating Quorn today and they love the nuggets! How cool is that?

We eat meat, too, but we've significantly cut back and found some awesome recipes and really good fake meats that are nearly (sometimes entirely) fat-free, but packed with protein. We make an awesome veggie chili with Melissa's Soyrizo. And we love to make tacos with the Smart burrito packets.
Yum... making me hungry just thinking about it...
I recently saw the term "flexitarian." I kind of like that. We still eat meat, but we eat a lot of vegetarian meals, too. I could never do the all or nothing approach.
